Sheffield Youth Big Band Alumni Gig

The most talented young jazz musicians in Sheffield and is supported by the Friends and Volunteers of Sheffield Music Hub.

Conductor, Dave Joyce, himself a trombone player with Sheffield’s Keith Peters Big Band, has run the group for 15 years and for tonight’s gig has invited back a group of “alumni” from the bands of the last decade, to join with the current group to play some old Big Band favourites along with some newer gems you'll know less well. 

Come along and support this new big band generation of enthusiasts and take a listen to the jazz stars of the future SYBB Alumni gig and current SYBB share a concert.
