About the event
From humble beginnings Bud Sugar have become a household name across the globe. They have played throughout the UK, a few European gigs and even a some state side shows supporting the likes of The Wailers, OPM, Syd Arthur, British Sea Power, The Beat, McKenzie James and Toploader. They've had appearances on BBC Introducing, BBC 1Xtra and headlining Radio 1's Academy in Hull, featured on Tom Robinsons "Fresh on the Net" playlist and tipped 'Fred Perry Subculture' as an emerging Talent to be watched! A social media might that is without a doubt a must see extravaganza of dizzying talent and endless creativity! Some talk of an afro, up-beat skank. Others claim, ska but not quite ska. Certainly the high speed, manic ukulele and drum machine are key components, you could call it afro pop with a northern dialect. Summery, high octane vibes make for a galvanising listening experience.
